Ablaze is a word that is simple to understand if you know that a blaze is a fire. Ablaze means simply to be on fire or to radiate with a bright light or color. This brings something to mind. I’m glad that I’m publishing this on the Web rather than in a traditional paper-based book.

I’ve been terribly inane in my posts here and I’ve insulted my readers occasionally. As a result, if you’ve been reading along, you’re probably exceptionally upset with me by now. Paper burns easily. I wouldn’t want to be the cause of you accidentally setting your home, and possibly a few of the neighboring homes and businesses as well, ablaze when you act on your frustration with my words.
