Accessible can refer to either a person or place. In each case it means that the person or place is easily approachable.

However, be careful with how you fling the word accessible around.

When talking about a building, accessible usually means that the building can be entered easily, particularly for people with mobility challenges. This typically means that it provides a flat or ramped way for wheelchairs to get in. Or there might be a wheelchair lift where a ramped or flat entrance is not possible.

However, whereas accessible can be used as an adjective with either a person or place, if you talk that way about a woman, i.e., that she is easily entered, you could get slapped with a harassment suit. Or just slapped. Or kicked in the groin. Then again, you could get lucky. Life’s like that. You can never be certain what will knock you down and what will lift you up.
