Acidulous means sour- or sharp-tasting. It is derived from the word acid, presumably because acidic liquids, such as lemon juice and lime juice, tend to be sour- and sharp-tasting.

That is all I have to say about acidulous. I hope that the brevity and banality of this entry hasn’t left an acidulous taste in your mouth, so to speak.

Don’t panic. There will be another entry coming along in about four hours or so. Hopefully, it will be more fulsome and entertaining than this one. Probably not, but you never know.
