After having just finished an entry on the word agglutinate, I would have assumed that agglutination would simply be the process of agglutinating or the result of agglutinating.
Oh, look. I was pretty much right about that. However, the dictionary goes a bit further than that when it comes to the field of biology. In that case, agglutination especially refers to the clumping of red blood cells as a response to an antibody.
Now you know. Did you already know that or do you feel more knowledgeable than a few seconds ago? If the latter, does that make you proud? No? I didn’t think so.
