Agnus Dei

Agnus Dei is a Christian prayer to “Christ, the Savior.” As someone who is ethnically Jewish and religiously atheist, it pisses me off that this is in the dictionary at all.

I haven’t done it, but I suspect that if I browse through the dictionary I’m not going to find the names of very many (probably none) Jewish prayers; or Muslim prayers, Hindu prayers, Sikh prayers … or any other religion for that matter.

The point is, I think all religion is based on fiction. Why give one fiction credence in a dictionary, without rewarding all fictions in the same way?
