I don’t know why, but I like the sound of the word agog. To my ears, it has a nice ring to it, while still managing to be concise, but expressive.

To my mind, agog isn’t used nearly often enough, including by me. I think I’m going to adopt a resolution to change that.

Agog, agog, agog, agog, agog, agog, agog, agog, agog. There. I’ve made a fine start, haven’t I? I think I’m now free to not use agog again for a few weeks without breaking my resolution.

Oh, yeah. You might want to hear what agog means. It simply means that you are very exciting about hearing, seeing or experiencing something that you expect to hear, see or experience, probably in the near, possibly very near, future.
