air chief marshal
Air chief marshall is the second-highest rank in the Royal Air Force. Why do I get the feeling that this project would be shorter if I didn’t use a dictionary that was published in Britain to drive the list of words for the project?
I do respect the military. Honest. Over the years, they’ve literally put their lives on the line to protect out democracy and freedom. However, I was thinking that I wouldn’t have to talk about individual positions in the military in a project that is intended to comment on all of the words in a particularly dictionary, namely The New Penguin English Dictionary (1986).
I wonder if my country, Canada, has air chief marshals. Maybe I should switch dictionaries.
