ambiguity

Ambiguity (noun) is the state of possibly being a bigamist, but not being absolutely certain that you are. Ambiguity usually happens when a promiscuous person who dresses as if he or she is very rich frequently consumes a lot of alcohol or drugs in a place where its very easy to get married, such as Las Vegas.

If there any tangible evidence of the marriages exists and/or if the spouses were not in a similar alcohol- or drug-induced state at the times the marriages occurred, ambiguity can be as costly and as legally fraught as bigamy.
