amiss

Social justice, human decency and moral virtue prevent us from providing an explicit definition of the verb amiss here. Suffice it to say that amiss means doing something with a miss—i.e., an unmarried girl or woman—without her consent and/or without her necessarily having reached the age of consent.

Doing what? That’s the part that we’re not willing to discuss here. Enough said.
